Dr. Semra Ağralı received her B.S. degree from İstanbul Technical University in 2003 and her M.S. degree from Koç University in 2005, both in Industrial Engineering, and her Ph.D. degree in Industrial and Sysems Engineering from University of Florida in 2009. She worked as an assistant professor between 2009 and 2013, and as an associate professor between 2013 and 2016 in the Department of Industrial Engineering at Bahçeşehir University. Dr. Ağralı joined the Department of Industrial Engineering at Mef University in July 2016.

Dr. Ozgur Ozluk obtained his Ph.D. in Operations Research from UNC Chapel Hill in 1999. Thereafter, he spent three years in Silicon Valley working for the revenue management division of Manugistics, Inc. He taught courses on Data Analytics at San Francisco State University between 2003 and 2014, in addition to several executive MBA courses and workshops/seminars in companies such as Gap, Banana Republic. In Fall 2014, he founded the Big Data Analytics and Management program at Bahçeşehir University. In Fall 2015, he started a predictive analytics enterprise, Verite Analytics.

Dr. Evren Güney completed his B.S. (1999), M.Sc. (2002) and Ph.D. (2009) degrees in Boğaziçi University, Industrial Engineering Department. He studied location, coverage and routing problems in his Ph.D. Thesis. On the following years, he focused on stochastic optimization models and social networks. He worked as faculty member in Istanbul Arel University between 2011-2017 and since 2018 Dr. Güney is a faculty member at MEF university. Besides his academic career, he has been an active investor and mentor in the Turkish start-up ecosystem, such as Starter's Hub Turkey.

Dr. Utku Koç received his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Bilkent University, Turkey in 2003 and 2012, respectively. His Ph.D. is on integration of production, inventory and transportation decision in supply chains. He continued his research as a post-doctoral fellow at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management Sciences of Northwestern University, USA, where he worked on parallelization of optimization algorithms. He joined MEF University as an assistant professor in March 2015. He is a member of INFORMS.

Dr. Hande Küçükaydın received her B.S. degree in Mathematics from Boğaziçi University, Istanbul, in 2002, her M.A. degree from Business Informatics (German) from Marmara University, Istanbul, in 2004 and her Ph.D. degree in Industrial Engineering from Boğaziçi University, Istanbul in 2011. She was a research assistant at Marmara University from 2002 to 2006 and at Boğaziçi University from 2006 to 2011. During her Ph.D., she focused on various facility location problems with variable characteristics. She worked at the research center QuantOM (Quantitative Methods and Operations Management) of HEC Management School of University of Liège, Belgium, as a postdoctoral researcher from November 2011 to September 2013 and as an FNRS (Fonds de la Recherche Scientifique) research fellow from October 2013 to August 2014, where she conducted research on vehicle routing problems. She joined the Department of Industrial Engineering of MEF University, Istanbul as an assistant professor in August 2014.

Dr. Duygu Taş received her B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering at Boğaziçi University (2006) and her M.Sc. degree in Industrial Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences at Sabancı University (2008). She carried out her Ph.D. studies at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Innovation Sciences at the Eindhoven University of Technology, The Netherlands (2009–2013). She conducted a part of her Ph.D. research as a visiting scholar at CIRRELT, Interuniversity Research Centre on Enterprise Networks, Logistics and Transportation, in Canada (September 2011–January 2012). After completing her Ph.D., she has worked as a post-doctoral fellow both at HEC Montréal and at CIRRELT in Canada (2013–2015). Dr. Taş joined the Department of Industrial Engineering of MEF University as an Assistant Professor in September 2015. Her research mainly focuses on transportation planning under uncertainty (especially vehicle routing problems), production and inventory planning under uncertainty, and airline crew scheduling.

Dr. Şirin Özlem graduated from the Industrial Engineering department, Uludağ University in 2008. During B.Sc, she studied statistical process control. In 2008, she started M.Sc study in Boğaziçi University, Industrial Engineering department and graduated in 2011. The M.Sc thesis included the study on Simulation of İstanbul Strait Transit Vessel scheduling. She received her Ph.D. degree in Industrial Engineering from Boğaziçi University in 2018. Since 2014, she has been working as a research assistant at MEF University.

Professor, Vice Rector
Erhan Erkut received a BSc in Industrial Engineering from Bogazici University in 1980 and a PhD from the University of Florida in 1986. Dr. Erkut taught at the University of Alberta School of Business during 1985-2005. During this period he received nine teaching awards, including the INFORMS Teaching of Management Science Practice Award and the 3M Teaching Fellowship, and five practice and service awards from the Canadian Operational Research Society. Dr. Erkut established a Centre for Excellence in Operations to facilitate know-how transfer, and served as the founding editor of the journal INFORMS Transactions in Education.
After returning to Turkey in 2005, he served as Dean of the Business School at Bilkent University (2005-07), the Founding Rector of Ozyegin University (2008-13), and as Vice-Rector of MEF University (2014-). Currently he serves on the boards of three local education associations and works actively to promote skills development for youth and entrepreneurship.
